Condition: Fair; edge-wear to the boards and surface of the boards. The interior is clean without markings except for the previous owner's name. Hinge weakness. The pages are fragile, Undated but the salutation is dated 1918. There is a small apparent water stain on a few of the first pages. The value of the book is the rich illustrations and seven coloured plates. Sixty-two illustrations by Frederick Barnard, JD Linton, W Small. Engraved by Dalziel Brothers.

Synopsis

The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan and published in February, 1678. It is regarded as one of the most significant works of English literature, has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print.
