Italy: Apuid Dusaq?. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. [1719]. Presumed 1st. Leather. Engravings; Elephant Folio ; 1 Vol. (Raphael, after). (Dorigny, Nicolas engraver who was originally trained in Law but turned to engraving due to deafness). A bibliography of his works is available at National Gallery of Art. Pinothecae Hamptoniana. [1719]. Large oblong folio, modern red quarter morocco and burgundy cloth. With seven engraved plates and engraved title; Engraved title with linen backing. Plates in amazingly nice condition with darkening to the edges of the margins. With some minimal dampstaining at lower plate margins. Some plates trimmed more than others but not intruding on the plate mark. Believed to have been printed in Italy. .
