London: George Allen and Unwin, 1942 Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. "One of the greatest authorities on Air Navigation has here devised one of the cleverest possible means of teaching map reading - in the form of games of varying difficulty - and includes a large map of the territory from Kent to the Rhineland - binding is shaken, one tape mark on each endpaper (and d/w flap) from where the d/w was secured in the past, otherwise Good in a Good unclipped d/w, average loss of 0.75" along bottom edge on back panel, and minor chips, all edges repaired/strengthened with brown gummed paper (theoretically removable), please see images, a scarce book by the man who also bacame a master solo yachtsman.
