Black cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 204 x 141mm. Poetry. The Pisan Cantos are numbered LXXIV to LXXXIV. "The title of this new section of the poem referes to Mr. Pound's detention, after the arrival in northern Italy of the armies of liberation by the American military authorities at a camp near Pisa: a brief peiod in the author's life to which the reader will detect frequent allusions in the text." - from dust-jacket blurb.
