Illustrator: Illustrated. preface to the fourth edition by James Clendinning, preface to the third edition, preface to the first edition, preface to the second edition introduction by author, references, five appendices, answers to examples and index. The text is illustrated with small black and white drawings, graphs, and figures. Blue coloured cloth covered board with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. The fourth enlarged and revised edition of this title, which was first published in 1923. This book is showing age and use. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Rubs, marks and stains to the book panels with browning and foxing of the text block edges. Offset tanning to the endpapers and the free front endpaper has previous owner's details to the top edge. Original bookseller's rubber stamp to the lower right hand corner of the front paste-down. Age toning of the pages and a previous owner has made some notations, in pencil, throughout. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6], VII - XVIII, 636 pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
