Eight plays by Chekhov. Wood cuts are strong and clear.Previous owners name center recto free endpaper. Front spine shows remaindof a dust jacket with some pencil marks at bottom left side. Rear shows fading of dust jacket. Text is unmarked. Dialogue is easy to read.
Red bird embeded on front cover middle . Spine has bands top and bottom, bird in middle tiel and author on red band but faded.. Corners not straight.
