About This Item
Harvard University Press. ** HARVARD UNIVERSITY PRESS EDITION, 1977 ** NEAR FINE HARDCOVER ** WITH SCARCE DUSTJACKET (GOOD CONDITION) ** NOT A LIBRARY BOOK ** CLEAN, STAIN-FREE, UNMARKED ** Published by the Harvard University Press, 1977, xxiv + 488 pages. Very well-made book, bound in heavy-duty black cloth-covered boards with bright embossed gilt lettering on the spine. Includes the rearely seen dustjacket. Book itself has slight signs of use, but no significant defects, cloth binding is still crisp and fresh. The book is exceptionally clean and stain-free, complete and intact, square and straight, still firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, missing, folded, or torn. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain-free, still bright and white, no age-toning, and all text is sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or any other such markings in the book. The dustjacket shows occasional moderate wear at the edges and, more notably, at and near the top and bottom of the spine, where there is some tearing along the spine edges. The jacket is quite clean and stain-free, and despite the edgewear and minor edge tears, it remains basically complete and intact.
