London.: Printed for J. Tonson in the Strand., 1727. hardcover. fair. Hardcover. Brown full leather worn tooled boards with scuffing, crack along one side of spine and tears at spine extremities. Early owner's ink inscription on endpaper (1765) with cost of the full 8 volumes of 1 pound 10 shillings. From the library of Barry Humphries (per ex libris sticker). Red /black title page plus engravings and decorated chapter headings. Pages are good with minor staining at edges. Condition is good.
