New York: James Miller, 1862-1863. Hardcover. Very Good. Vol. 1 (1862)- 384 pages. Vol. 2 (1863)- 405 pages. Vol. 3 (1862)- 399 pages. Vol. 4 (1863)- 242 pages. Volume 4 contains a 75 page Memorial by Theodore Tilden, follwed by Browning's Last Poems. 4 1/4 x 6 3/4 in. Each Volume in tan half calf binding with marbled boards and end papers, gilt lettering on spine, five raised bands, edge of text block marbled. Condition of each volume is VERY GOOD: Heavy wear and soiling to spine and covers, esp on cover edges of spine, corners bent. Top edge of text blocks darkened, pages clean, binding fine. Small bookplate of David B. Ogden on inside of front cover. All volumes missing leather label on spine for volumes, Vol. 2 missing both labels, other volumes has chipping to leather title labels. Vol.s 1 & 4 have slight cracking of top spine end.
