BINDING/CONDITION: black buckram binding, gilt spine text, red tint on all edges; considerable rubbing to the spine ends, owner's inscriptions on the front endpaper (one dated 1876, and one later, undated); Good condition.. about 7 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide . Glossary. Light blue endpapers. Description: ''Second edition, to which is added a number of new pieces never before published.'' This was originally published one year earlier (1872). Andrew Wanless was a bookseller, bookbinder, author and poet. Born in Scotland in 1825, he settled in Detroit in 1860. Decorative initial caps; small title page vignette, and slightly larger tailpiece.
