Beautiful Green Cloth Cover with inset Brown & Gilt Decorated Quatrefoil Pane with Hood's name. Gilt and Black Decoration on the upper surface. Spine has Gilt and Black Decoration with Horizontal Divisions in the manner of an Antique Leather Binding. Beveled Edges. All Page Edges Gilt. 478 Pages + Publisher's Catalogue. 7 1/4" Tall, 620g. Undated Edition, Gift inscription on ffep Dated 1880. No other inscriptions. Very slight edge wear. Some spots of browning to first few pages, only a very occasional spot elsewhere.
