Brown cloth binding, textured and embossed, spine sunned with gilt stamping dulled, t.e.g. Light wear to extremities, a bit more so to foot and heel of spine with some fraying (1/8 inch), clean, tightly bound; former ownership name with date of 1865; short tear to front fly leaf, darkened end pages, frontispiece of Goldsmith with tissue guard (with small chip), still bright pages, free of marking and pleasingly clean. civ, 214pp. A tidy volume.
