Brown and black with gilt and green decorative center art piece, chocolate endpapers and all edges gilt. Slightly shaken though secure text block with inner rear joint showing bindery webbing, a mild top spine shift and clean pages. Missing verso front chocolate endpaper. One foxed page (from something left in, and a few notations. Undated circa late 1870s with 1880 date at front endpaper inscription. About 7-1/2 x 5 with 740 pages. Illustrated. About fair plus with a fairly nice cover. .

All orders are packaged with extra care, generally in a new book box with protective plastic & bubble wrap, and Media Mail is the normal shipping service.
