One of the prize poems is "Medallion" by Sylvia Plath, so this slim publication helped to launch her career. The poem was later published as part of her first poetry collection, "The Colossus and Other Poems". Also in the publication are poems by Philip Larkin (two) , Ted Hughes and Kingsley Amis. .
