About This Item
London: Chatto & Windus, 1878. Hardcover. Good. Blue boards embossed with publisher's stamp to front, gilt lettering and illustration to spine. Decorated endpapers. Previous owner's name to ffep in neat ink. Boards bumped and a little scuffed at corners and edges, a few marks. Tanning to margins of endpapers. Some light foxing to first few pages but contents largely unaffected. Front board cracked at hinge slightly revealing webbing, ffep starting to come loose as a consequence, otherwise good + tight and clean. Publisher's catalogue of other titles to rear.
