Brown cloth, mildly stained, with gilt lettering on spine. 1" strip? of paper residue? or rubbed area? on front cover, otherwise covers are Very Good-. Interior is tight, clean and Very Good+. Dust Jacket chipped along edges. Front cover's top edge at corner, missing piece 3"x2". Back DJ cover stapled to back cover of book holding the mailing label from the Smithsonian Institution. 1 1/2" tear on back DJ cover at bottom edge. Overall DJ is Good. . Cloth. Very Good-/Good.
