This unique Edition is printed on a fine laid paper specially made for it by the Monadnock Paper Company of New Hampshire. The Heritage Press, The George Macy Companies, Inc 1964 With SANDGLASS Very Good++Clean, no writing, slight yellowing on front and back paste down, text is bright and clean One small spot on bottom fore-edge, slipcase is Very Good, one spot on front and very slight shelf wear, no bumped corners on book nor slipcase The binding is a paragon of eighteenth-century appropriateness and sturdiness-the twelve signs of the Zodiac have been arranged in an all-over pattern for stamping on the front cover, and the titling on the shelf-back is in pure gold leaf Beautifully Illustrated by Norman Rockwell, two double pages of paintings, four full pages, and forty small drawings which are scattered though the text each illustration a typical aphorism An excellent copy, Great Gift for someone special Extra posting needed, it is a large book.
