Cover has light wear and foxing on rear along spine. Moderate to heavy foxing on inside front and rear covers and endpapers and on the right and top page edges. Approximately eleven pages have a crease in upper right corner and five pages have a crease in lower right corner. Former owner's name at top of front endpaper.

Black and white frontis portrait of Carleton. Three page chronology with bibliographic information. Minor wear to the fore corners of the boards and the spine tips.Ootherwise very clean with a sound binding. The unclipped dust jacket, in one piece still, is quite worn on all edges, has several closed tears and some surface damage on the front. .
