Black cloth with gilt (roughly) 9 1/2" by 6 1/4" (inches) viii, 312 pages plus 16 page of b & w photos, Very Good Plus condition with minor edge wear to page edges (one of the plates may have been loose and was reglued in, I think), dust jacket is in Good condition only with edge wear/straches & front cover 3 12" fold and tear to top front left by spine, jacket is now in Mylar."In the 1930s, she directed the Nazi propaganda films Triumph of the Will (1935) and Olympia (1938), resulting in worldwide attention & acclaim. The films are widely considered two of the most effective & technically innovative propaganda films ever made. Her involvement in Triumph of the Will, however, significantly damaged her career and reputation after World War II. Adolf Hitler closely collaborated with Riefenstahl during the production of at least three important Nazi films, & they formed a friendly relationship."
