About This Item
Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.: Harcourt, 1992. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The story of an African woman coping with the trauma of genital mutilation. Stated first edition. First printing with a letter line sequence running "A" thru "E." There is some underlining and markings throughout the text, but otherwise the pages are bright and unsoiled. There are no bookplates or remainder marks. This is not an ex-library copy. This book has been read but the spine is still very tight and crisp. Corners are square, and the boards are flat and true and show minimal wear. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and likewise shows only minor edge wear/scuffing, the worst of which is a tiny tear and some bumping to the upper spine extreme. This collectible, very good+/very good+, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
