Exterior shows scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. There is a small hole in the cloth at the front hinge area, just right of the word "edition" on the spine. It's hard to see in the photos because the cover is open but the first photo shows a white spot about 4 inches up in the bottom, the whole is a little bit longer than it is high and measures about 1/8" high and 1/4" wide. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues and text pages are tight. Paper is toned due to age and there is some foxing and spotting present. The front end page and title page are both stamped "Dr. James P. McKelvy, Pittsburgh PA". No other markings found in the book, text pages are handwriting free, no bookplates, no library markings present. The top exterior page edge of the textblock is darkened.
