About This Item

Sovereign Books Ltd, London, No date. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Fair. Light blue coloured boards with black coloured titles to the front panel and spine. Severe bumping to the top book corners and bumping to the lower book corners. The head and the heel of the spine are somewhat soft and bumped. A few dust marks to the book covers and there is a crease in the rear book panel one third of the way down the length of the book. Browning to the paper edges and to the internal pages. The top corner of the free front endpaper has been cut. A little offset tanning to the endpapers. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing a young woman wringing her hands and a cowboy in the background with both his guns out against a yellow coloured background with red and black coloured titles to the front panel. Chipping and rubbing to the dustwrapper corners and there is chipping, with loss, to the top spine edge. A little chipping to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and there is a 0.25 " tear to the top dustwrapper edge with associated creasing. The dustwrapper is rubbed, faded and quite grubby. On the top one third of the front panel there is a small area which has loss of colour commensurate with removal of a sticker. Some creasing to the fold over edges. Complete fading of the backstrip titles. There is no publishing data that I can find, but giving the illustration of the dustwrapper -- probably published in the 1950s or early 1960s. A pulp Western from middle 20th century. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). 222 pages, last blank, one page of an advertisement.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 500 grams. Category: Fiction; Fiction -- American West; United States; Inventory No: 0103329. .
