About This Item

The Sole UK printing published by Incline Press in 1997. The BOOK is in Fine condition. Number 17 of only 50 special copies with the total limitation being 360 copies. This special edition has six loose full sheets of patterned paper housed in a separate paper portfolio. The book and portfolio are housed within the slipcase which is in near Fine condition. The slipcase decoration has a different patterned design to the Standard edition. The six full sheets of patterned papers are from The Curwen Press, Judd Street Gallery, Rampant Lions Press et al. The sheets are in Fine condition. The book 'is printed on Zerkall paper in Goudy Old Style types. All hand setting and letterpress printing was done at Incline Press. The binding has been done by hand, the work shared between Incline Press and Stephen Conway at his bindery in Bradford'. Accompanied by the scarce Publisher's prospectus. A wonderful production with numerous tipped in patterned paper samples. Extremely scarce. More images available on request. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
