Brown, 'Grandet' by Dorothea Walter and John Watkins. --- In Toledano spine 8 / red cloth / gilt titling stamped on black cover & spine blocks / black topstain / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style i, verso advertises 403 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1961 (though 1950 date appears in book). ML #245.1. --- A very well-preserved copy: bright, tightly bound and unmarked. Unclipped dust jacket ($1.95) with tears, chips, rubbing and sticker remnant to front panel, but mostly intact and protected in removable mylar wrapper.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; xvi, 496 pages .
