About This Item
London: Oxford Univeristy Press, 1942. Hardcover. First Edition, First Impression. 5 x 7.5in. vii. 139pp. Publisher's cloth boards. VERY GOOD in Very Good dust jacket protected in a removable archival cover. The book itself shows the text-block edges somewhat foxed, former owner name and date at the front endpaper, several pages occasionally throughout with a slight suggestion of foxing at the margins only, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. The dust jacket shows a chip from the topmost of the spine, spine tanned, slight shelf rubbing of the extremities, back panel only lightly shelf rubbed, price-clipped, otherwise remains distinct. As pictured.
