About This Item

Signed by the University president. The college was founded in 1893 as East Stroudsburg Normal School. It's in eastern Pennsylvania in the Poconos. It's got a paste down sticker in the end page for the University President's Club thanking the recipient for his support. The book is in near fine condition with only slight bumps to the top and bottom of the spine. The dust jacket is likewise bumped and has some soiling on the front cover and some shelf wear. Jacket listed as very good. The University president, James Gilbert, has signed on the front free end page under the President's Club sticker.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
