Chicago, IL: The Reilly & Britton Co, 1906. First Editions. Hardcover. Good Only. Maginal Wright Enright. FIRST PRINTING. 12mo, 6.8 in. x 5 in. Illustrated with colored plates. Light tan cloth boards. Hand-lettered top line on title pages read: "The Twinkle Tales". Heavy, blank, red endpapers. Verso of half title page has list of all six volumes of The Twinkle Tales. First lines of title page printed in colored, hand-lettering block style. Copyright ,1906, by the Reilly & Britton Co." to verso of title page. (Bienvenue 288).

Tan boards with illustrations and lettering stamped in color to front and spine. Light rubbing and soiling to boards. Cloth tears along both front and rear joints. Well-rubbed but still legible spine. Corners just nudged. Previous owner's inscription, dated 1920, and another previous owner's ink stamp to front free endpaper. Hinges cracked, but threads still holding. Age-toning to pages.
