FABULOUS CHROMOLITHOGRAPHS ILLUSTRATE 69 PAGES OF CLASSIC FAIRY TALES , NURSERY RHYMES and SONGS. RIGHT HAND PAGES HAVE SIX OR EIGHT PANELS OF WONDERFULLY ILLUSTRATED CHROMOLITHOGRAPHS. THESE PANELS GIVE ONE A SENSE OF A MODERN-DAY COMIC BOOK. Text is in 2 columns on the facing page.

London:Sampson Low, Marston, Searle & Rivington, 1st ed (NAP), nd ca [1878]. Printed by Emrik & Binger, Chromok-Lith., Holborn Viaduct. Many of the illustrations are signed E.B. Can this be E Vere Boyle? Folio, cloth backed pictorial boards. Back cover has advertising for other children's books. Pictorial label has loss mostly at bottom edge and corners (see photo) , cream eps are clean with 1" thin paper break at bottom. The title page has been re-inserted and shows light chipping vertically at right edge. Previously neatly taped margin edges - mostly the text side -tape is mainly at the front and back pages. Small bottom corner chips to many pgs - not affecting the book. Book is in clean and tight condition and besides the conditions noted is in Good condition. A VERY SCARCE ILLUSTRATED CHILDREN'S BOOK
