First printing. 906 pp., frontis photo with tissue guard, VII folding plates, many figures and photo plates, appendices, index, large, thick octavo, dark green cloth with gilt titles. A Very Good copy with no owner's marks, hinges holding well, expected wear to cloth at extremities. Mild smoky odour will fade with time. Minor spotting to cloth but no significant fading. Very attractive.
