Bound in publisher's original red half leather with five raised bands and spine stamped in decorative gilt. Marbled covers ruled in gilt. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. Bookplate tipped in on front fixed enpaper. Profusely illustrated. Front and back free endpapers, along with front edge of text block, have moderate foxing. 4 3/4 x 7 inches. 364 pages.
