About This Item
Oscar Wilde's last published work, this long letter was written to his friend, Robert Ross during Wilde's imprisonment for gross indecency and published after his death. The binding has soiling, some scuffs and bumps to edges and some mild staining. Hinges are tight and pages are bright and clean. There is an ink name and location ("Helen W. Smith, Linden Lodge") along with the sentence,"Compliments of Oscar Wilde" which is in the hand of the aforementioned book owner. Web research could point to a Helen W. Smith living at a Linden Lodge in Stamford, Ct. as the owner of the book.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
