Coloured illustrated dustwrapper with gold and yellow coloured titles to the front panel and gold coloured titles to the backstrip. In 1978 an Italian statesman was kidnapped and murdered by the Red Brigade. Now it's 10 years later, and Lapo Bardi, Substitute Prosecutor of the Republic of Italy, thinks he may be on the Trail of the Grand Old Man of terrorism. But this is Italy, and forces both for, and against, for Bardi start lining up, and nothing is quite as it seems.
