About This Item
First Edition Thus.
Oversized (16" X 9 5/8"), marbled boards printed in red, blue and gold, gilt spine label. Gothic style text in black, red headings, blue initials. Frontispiece and ornamental page borders by William Wilke. No limitation stated, but it's difficult to conceive that many copies were issued. It also appears that copies have variant patterning to the boards; priority unknown.
Inscribed by Nash and dated 1936. An unusually nice copy, boards a bit bowed but otherwise fine and having none of the spine condition issues that seem to plague this title.
