Inscribed and signed by actress Janet Lee to Elly Block (wife of writer Robert Bloch) and then in turn signed by Elly Bloch to the actress Mary Kay Stearns on title page. Wikipedia states, "Mary Katherine Stearns was an American actress best known for portraying the fictional version of herself on the sitcom Mary Kay and Johnny from 1947 until 1950. The series was the first sitcom to air on television, the first television series to feature a pregnancy, (the Stearns' real life son Christopher), and the first to feature a couple sharing a bed."
