In reading this book one is struck – among other things – by an apparent contradiction: psychosynthesis claims to be in experimentally and scientifically based psychology; on the other hand, it appears to have an affinity with the esoteric tradition – a perspective widely divergent, if not opposite, to the scientific approach.
