Incomplete run includes the years: 1860-1861, 1864-1866, 1868-1875, 1881, 1883-1885. Bound in later brown cloth. Good bindings and covers. Clean, unmarked pages. Profusely illustrated. <br><br> Punch was a British magazine of humor and satire established in 1841. It quickly it rose to pre-eminence as a widely-read weekly that blended social commentary, with humor and wit. Punch appealed to reform-minded Victorian British middle-class sentiment, without espousing revolutionary spirit or radicalism. The magazine was thickly populated by the political cartoons of John Tenniel and other artists.
