New York: Private, 1931. Brown Velvet. Very Good/No Jacket. PHOTOS. Brown velvet boards with gold titles, minor shelfwear, foxing to some pages, numerous photos, some detached (but present), half-title page has been removed and it is believed to have had a photo attached. This is a family history, title page reads: "Filled by the Children, the Grandchildren, and a few of the Friends of Elizabeth and Alexander Black, In commemoration of their Golden Wedding Anniversary October 4, 1931". Reverse reads: " Printed in the USA for the Black-Helmle Dynasty, by the Quinn & Boden Co.". Many family photos, children, locales, etc. Alexander Black was a pioneer in the motion picture industry, producing "picture plays" in the 1890s. Well known in his day.
