London: Kearsley, 1794. Full-Leather. Good. 2 Volumes in contemporary Tree Full-Leather Bindings with Decorative Gilt Borders to fronts and backs. Gilt Classical decoration to spines. Leather labels with Vol. Nos are missing but the numbers 1 and 2 are indented and clearly visible. Black decorative title label on spine of Vol 1 but some leather is missing from the spine of Vol 2, including the title. Gilt hatching on board edges & Gilt Inner Borders and Marbled Endpapers. Page edges speckled Blue. Each frontispiece has an engraved portrait , by W. Skelton & E. F. Burney, published for C & G Kearsley. 1 Engraved Plate in the each Volume. Vol 1 has 186 Pages + Notes and Vol 2 has 168 Pages + Notes. 8 1/4" Tall, 450g. Pages in very good, clean condition. No inscriptions. Small piece of leather missing at top of Vol 1 ( see photos).
