About This Item

[Boston]: Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Dept. of Conservation, Division of Fisheries and Game, Marine Fisheries Section, 1931. Octavo-sized booklet, stapled in wrappers (23 x 15 cm.), 41 pages. Illustrated, with six plates. Tables. Second edition. A reissue, with revisions, of the original report issued in 1912, based on researches in the years 1910-12. The report covers the biology of the Quahaug and the operation of the shellfish fisheries of Massachusetts. Bit of oxidation to the staples, small archival tape repair to wrappers at head of spine. Otherwise very good. [OCLC locates fifteen copies].
