A collection of stories on Samurais and the Samurai tradition in Japan, mostly portraying gay/homosexual love stories and anecdotes among the samurai, and drawing mostly from Ihara's "Glorious Stories of Homosexuality." Saikaku Ihara was a 17th century Japanese poet and writer, originating the Floating World style, as well as responsible for many works chronicle amorous affairs. GOOD condition. General uneven fading and toning to the covers. Minor soiling and edgewear. Owner's inscription present. Page edges foxed. Minor toning to the paper.
