Unusual pagination, with title page, followed by two un-paginated pages, then numbered 1 to 38, with each number assigned to two pages, with the same number applied to the pages facing one another. Images of the products mostly a single item per page, but with smaller items there can be four or six items on the plate. The images are photo engraved in brown and white. Text furnished in English, French and Spanish, undoubtedly reflecting the company's international clientele. Jabez, Cliff was a firm going back to 1873 whose original and it would appear most successful business was manufacturing saddles. Indeed, the only trade catalogue of the company we could locate on OCLC First Search was its 1927 English Saddlery Catalogue held by the U.S. Patent Office, of all places. The company remained in business until relatively recent times. It went under in 2014, when it had a different name -- Barnsby Equestrian. Its line of saddles, though, are still being made. In any case, it is a natural progression for an equestrian tack company to branch out into other leather goods, as most famously did Hermes. Light wear.
