About This Item
Japan: Jusekisha, 1986. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 247 pages, bilingual text, English and Japanese. Fine photography, accurate and helpful information accompany the carefully selected plants featured in this volume. To limit the "best" of cattleyas to 800 clones is an arbitrary decision and, of course, a subjective one as well. In this sense "800 Cattleyas of the World" is a fine and highly desirable beginning to a continuing compilation of the best which the modern Orchid world has to offer. Volume itself has light blue cloth covers with sharp white lettering on the spine and the front cover. There is light wear at the tail of the spine and at some corners. At the top of the pages there a touch of light brown spotting near the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed!
