London: Ward Lock, 1936. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publisher's pale orange boards with black lettering to the front board and spine with publisher's logo at the bottom right hand corner of the front board. Some mottling to the boards otherwise VG indeed in like D/W where the price to the inside flap has been neatly excised by a small hole. The D/W is is rubbed to the spine ends and faded to a lighter hue but is still an attractive example. Superb period D/W artwork by Abbey. Photographs/scans available by request.
