About This Item
New York: Literary Guild of America, 1939. Hardcover. Very Good. Blue cloth, lettering and ornamental border stamped in blind on upper board, in gilt on spine; 8vo; pp. 485. Spine and edges of boards a bit sunned; some faint foxing along fore-edge, but internally bright and clean. A nice copy, from the library of Ernest Hemingway's younger sister, with her pencilled ownership signature on the FFEP ("Ursula Heminway Jepson") and her bookplate on front paste-down ("Jasper and Ursula Jepson").
