Previous owner's penned name and date to the inside front cover, minor corner rubbing, very little wear overall. Text is clean. 'Between 1896 and 1899, Dawson had grown from a mud flat to the largest Canadian city north of Vancouver and west of Winnipeg, with a population of more than 30,000. For one year - from June 1898 to July 1899 - it was one of the grandest cities in North America, where one could do or buy most anything that one had money for.' Illustrated. 135 pages. 8.5 x 11 inches..
