About This Item
The American Antiquarian Magazine, 1892. Original wraps. Very Good -. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR WILLIAM C. WINSLOW on the front cover. A well-preserved copy to boot of this fragile, uncommon "reprint from The American Antiquarian Magazine for November, 1892". A "biographical sketch" of Amelia Blandford Edwards, the "Queen of Egyptology" and the Honorary Secretary for Great Britain of the Egypt Exploration Fund. Clean and VG- in its stapled beige wrappers, with chipping along the bottom 1/3 of the spine and a bit of loss (especially at the rear panel -- almost 3") surrounding the base of the spine. Still though, very presentable. Written by the Vice President of the Egypt Exploration Fund and an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Archaeological Institute.
