London: The Religious Tract Society, 1882. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo. No publishing date, but Copac cites 1882 and a neat gift inscription in the book is dated 1886; pp. 249, + 16 pages of illustrated adverts, b/w frontispiece with tissue guard, further numerous b/w illustrations. Original decorative light grey cloth binding stamped in gilt, silver-gilt and brown, bevelled edges to boards, binding very good with a little general wear and slight rubbing to extremities, spine a little dulled and rear board slightly marked. Contents clean and tight, inscriptions, minimal foxing. A very good tight copy of this scarce title..
