Philadelphia, PA: David McKay, 1947. Harry and Eva found a beautiful antique book at the chateau where they were staying, and decided to take it with them when they left. Many had wanted it, and many had died for it. Ex-library with dates written in pencil on the rear end paper, no other library indications. Gently bumped and rubbed with a tiny nick to the upper rear board and light foxing to the edges of the text block. Jacket rubbed with small chips and tears, in Brodart.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Ex-Library.
