About This Item
91 pages with diagrams, illustrations and index. Octavo (8 1/2" x 5 1/4") bound in original publishers pictorial wrappers. First edition.
The Queen's Indian Defences has been known for some time, but was largely ignored until the last few years even though Petrosian had employed it sporadically with good results. Its full potential was realized only after Gary Kasparov molded it into a respectable system which he has used to win game after game.
Condition: Corners bumped and rubbed, edge wear, lightly soiled else very good.
