Paperback small quarto, very good condition, stapled (rusted), covers lightly foxed, minor edgewear. 82 pp. This guide is intended to show researchers to the wide range of sources available about immigration and immigrants for Queensland and Australia generally. Records listed include the frequently used Immigration Department passenger lists, as well as many lesser known records. The guide contains listings of records relating to immigration generally, to passenger and shipping lists, and to immigrants. The immigrants were mainly of European origin, but include people from Asia and the Pacific, and occasionally reference is found to those who came from other parts of the world. The date range of the various records is 1848 to 1986.
